Flight Check-In Authorization

By opting in below, Customer (“Traveler”) authorizes Ascend to act as Traveler’s agent solely for the purpose of completing airline check-in on Traveler’s behalf.

Traveler expressly authorizes Ascend to:

(a) use Traveler’s personal information (including passport details, date of birth, and loyalty program information) as required to complete the online check-in process;

(b) agree to any airline terms, conditions, declarations, and security acknowledgments presented during online check-in, including hazardous-materials confirmations and conditions of carriage; and

(c) retrieve official boarding passes directly from the airline through its authorized channels.

By opting in, Traveler confirms that they have reviewed and agree to the airlines’ required safety/security declarations and conditions of carriage and that they have nothing to declare under such security declarations, and that Ascend may affirm those declarations as if Traveler had made them directly to the airline. Traveler further represents that all information they provide to Ascend is accurate and that they meet all travel document, visa, health, and entry requirements for their itinerary.

Ascend will only use official airline check-in methods and will not bypass airline restrictions or perform check-in for carriers that prohibit third-party check-in. For such carriers, Ascend may instead send reminders or instructions for Traveler to complete check-in directly. Ascend will also provide the airline with Traveler’s correct contact information to ensure the airline can send operational updates directly.

Traveler acknowledges that while Ascend will make commercially reasonable efforts to complete check-in successfully, the airline retains sole discretion over check-in acceptance. Traveler remains responsible for complying with all airline, airport, and governmental requirements, and shall indemnify and hold harmless Ascend from all claims, damages, liabilities, assessments, losses, costs and other reasonable expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal expenses, (collectively, the “Claims”) arising out of or resulting from any claim, demand, suit, action or any other proceeding by a third party that arises out of or relates to check-in with the exception of any Claims resulting from Ascend’s gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
